The Secret Garden based in Dawlish have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, creative apprentice to join their experienced team to undertake their training.
The Apprentice’s Role
The successful candidate will be required work as part of a team to help provide an exciting play based learning environment. Set up activities and get children involved with activities after-school or during holiday club & to help develop a safe, caring, supportive and secure environment to enable the physical and emotional well-being of all the children in the setting. You are required to work within the team to ensure the smooth day to day organisation and operation of the nursery provision. You need to work as part of a team to facilitate a child-centred approach based on active learning. As a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprentice, you will be expected to have excellent observational and communication skills and will play an active part in the development of the children in your care.
You will help children to understand and demonstrate good health, hygiene and personal habits during meal times, rest periods and bathroom use, and model excellence whilst you assist in serving snacks and refreshments to children.
You be a great team player and have excellent standards of personal hygiene and appearance, be reliable and model positive behaviour at all times.
Working Hours: 30-40 hours a week over Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-6pm.
