Last year I Sat My GCSES, this Year I’m…
“…Working on my Level 2 Hair Apprenticeship at March Hair. I always struggled in school as I wasn’t very academic, so knew learning on the job would be a better option for me. I would find it difficult to get up for 9am but now I wake up and look forward to my day at March Hair. I wanted to try a hair apprenticeship as I’ve always been interested in hairdressing, and by the end of the first week, I already loved it!
“I’ve learnt so much since my GCSEs. I’ve always been polite, but my people skills have thrived and I feel confident striking up a conversation with anyone who comes into the salon. I’m 110% more independent; I’ve saved up to buy a car and pay for driving lessons with my salary.
“I tend to live in the now rather than look to the future, but I’m certain I want to progress onto Level 3 Hairdressing and become a professional hairdresser”.
