The Apprentice’s Role
You are required to be first point of contact for callers, visitors and parents by phone or in person. Perform general administrative duties and to provide administrative assistance to the administrator and senior administrator as needed. Specifically to receive and direct phone calls, to record the handing out of school equipment, to text parents where students are late to college or require replacement equipment. To maintain and manage loan laptops and charging cables. To take and forward voicemails and emails. To respond to standard enquiries. To send and receive mail.
Working Hours: Your working hours will be Monday to Friday and shifts will be discussed on interview.
Wages: £160.00 per week, based on a 30 hour week. Any additional hours worked over 40 hours per week will be paid at the National Minimum Wage depending on age.
Holiday: 28 days holiday entitlement, including bank holidays, will be paid each year, during the course of your apprenticeship.

The Apprenticeship in Business Administration consists of:

◾Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT
◾Health and Safety Certificate
◾Emergency First Aid
Most aspects of your training will be delivered on site by the employer, where you will gain all the skills, knowledge and experience to assist you in this role. Your duties will vary from day to day, and throughout your on site learning process you will work closely with experienced members of staff.
You will have regular visits every six to eight weeks from your designated assessor, who will help you and monitor your progress throughout your apprenticeship programme
