FitER Ladies Health Club are looking for an apprentice in customer services to maintain high levels of professionalism and customer service in the organisation.

The Apprentice’s Role

Main duties and responsibilities:

● Be a significant step in client lead communication for sales generation purposes
● Reception duties and club operations, such as maintaining a clean and safe environment
● Marketing duties and activities
● Participation in FitER content e.g. fitness videos/content/facebook lives/podcasts etc
● Maintain business and accounting documentations
● FitER Online administrative duties following appropriate training
● Administrative duties to support the Club Manager

Working Hours: The working hours for this role is varied, shifts will either be 9am-1pm, 12pm-4pm or 4pm-8pm. You will be working Monday to Friday and a total of 30 hours per week.

Wages: £145.00 per week, based on a 30 hour week. Any overtime above the 40 hours per week, will be paid at the appropriate national minimum wage depending on age.

Holiday: 28 days holiday entitlement (including bank holidays) will be paid each year, during the course of your apprenticeship.

FitER is a local business set up by Suzanne and Chris Hubble. Founded in 2013 as a Ladies Health Club, FitER has evolved to incorporate a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. FitER Ladies Health Club in Plympton offers a range of fitness classes, personal training and exclusive member benefits such as Health MOT's, Nutrition Advice and Personalised Programmes. All training will be provided to you in the use of the services we have at the health club. You will also have the opportunity to progress onto a higher level qualification on the completion of your apprenticeship.

Skills Required

Ability to establish good internal and external working relationships and effective teamwork. Excellent communication skills are essential to ensure all of our members are made to feel welcomed and important. You must be able to work off your own initiative and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Personal Qualities

You will be motivated to learn with a positive and energetic approach to your work. As first point of contact for our members you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and have a professional and well presented demeanor. You will need to be reliable with an excellent record of attendance and punctuality. As a valued member of the company you will need to be flexible when required and be a good team player.

Prior Qualifications

GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent is preferred but not required.

The Apprenticeship in Level 2 Customer Service's consists of:

•Level 2 Customer Service Standard
•Functional Skills in Maths and English

You will attend monthly sessions as part of your off the job training throughout your apprenticeship. Most aspects of your training will be delivered on site by the employer, where you will gain all the skills, knowledge and experience to assist you in this role. Your duties will vary from day to day, and throughout your on site learning process you will work closely with experienced members of staff.

You will have regular visits every six to eight weeks from your designated assessor, who will help you and monitor your progress throughout your apprenticeship programme.
