Enfield South West are looking for a trainee administrator to work closely with the office manager, assisting with keeping up to date with the paper and ensuring that all office duties are kept running smoothly.

The Apprentice’s Role

The apprentice will be required to undertake the following tasks:

- Filing away documents
- Keeping the diary up to date
- Assisting with the daily program (rota)
- Answering phone calls
- Accepting deliveries
- Assisting with ensuring that all company documentation is up to date
- Responding to emails

You will be assisting the office manager on a day to day basis so your role may vary depending on specific workloads.

Working Hours: The working hours will be 35-40 hours per week, specific working hours will be discussed on interview.

Wages: £200.00 per week, based on a 40 hour week. Any overtime above the 40 hours per week, will be paid at the appropriate national minimum wage depending on age.

Holiday: 28 days holiday entitlement (including bank holidays) will be paid each year, during the course of your apprenticeship.

Enfield are a fire protection company that was established in 2014. The director of the company has over 30 years experience within the trade. Enfield ensure that commercial buildings (new builds and refurbishments) conform to current fire protection standards by installing fire retardant materials.

The role is progressive and the successful candidate may be able to take on more responsibility and progress within the company.

Skills Required

- Good knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Good organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Prior Qualifications

C grade or above in Maths and English GCSE.

The Apprenticeship in Level 3 Business Administration consists of:

Level 3 Business Administrator Standard
Functional Skills in Maths and English

You will attend monthly sessions as part of your off the job training throughout your apprenticeship. Most aspects of your training will be delivered on site by the employer, where you will gain all the skills, knowledge and experience to assist you in this role. Your duties will vary from day to day, and throughout your on site learning process you will work closely with experienced members of staff.

You will have regular visits every six to eight weeks from your designated assessor, who will help you and monitor your progress throughout your apprenticeship programme.
