The Apprentice’s Role
The role will be to work alongside the Body Shop Manager. You will learn how to carry out Vehicle assessments on damaged vehicles and to follow the process right through to the end with the customer. This will also involve dealing with Insurance companies and updating all involved in the progression.
You will also be fully trained on the company information system, so data can be kept up to date and managed effectively. As part of this unique role, you will also answer incoming telephone queries and book appointments with the appropriate member of staff. You will be expected to carry out general administrative tasks such as; filing, post ordering of stationery and reception duties.
Working Hours: The role is full time working 8.30am to 5.30pm five days a week, this equates to 40 hours.
Wages: £148.00 per week, based on a 40 hour week. Any overtime above the 40 hours per week, will be paid at the appropriate national minimum wage depending on age.
Holiday: 28 days holiday entitlement (including bank holidays) will be paid each year, during the course of your apprenticeship.

Must be keen to learn and have good listening skills and be able to communicate with customers and take messages.
You will need to be organised and have a methodical approach to your work. You will need to be outgoing by nature and confident when dealing with people. This is predominantly a male orientated environment, so this will need to be factored in when considering the position.
5 GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above including Maths and English is desirable however i is not essential for this role.
The Apprenticeship in Level 3 Business Administration consists of:

◾Functional Skills in Maths and English
You will attend monthly sessions as part of your off the job training throughout your apprenticeship. Most aspects of your training will be delivered on site by the employer, where you will gain all the skills, knowledge and experience to assist you in this role. Your duties will vary from day to day, and throughout your on site learning process you will work closely with experienced members of staff.
You will have regular visits every six to eight weeks from your designated assessor, who will help you and monitor your progress throughout your apprenticeship programme.
