Bromhead Chartered Accountants are looking for a Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice to provide administrative/financial support under the direction/instruction of senior staff. They will learn the company’s systems, be a part of administration, answering phone calls, book work appointments and assist in the day-to-day running of the office.
The Apprentice’s Role
The job involves working from instructions but also making decisions involving the use of initiative to help improve current working procedures and create new systems of working to help improve the business further. Problems are referred to a supervisor/manager. Little supervision is necessary beyond the initial training provided by working arrangements and methods. Maintaining a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first point of contact for administration needs, customers, and other interested parties in person, online and via telephone will also be a big part of the role.
Duties include
The post is predominately office based, with limited requirements for lifting and carrying files, boxes and other general office items.
Working Conditions
Concentration is required whilst working in the office environment, and the individual will need to be able to work under a bit of pressure whilst dealing with enquiries and the relevant teams on different matters.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. The hours would be discussed and between Monday-Friday between 8:30 – 5pm.
Wages: £6 per hour equating to £225 per week and £12,500 a year.
Holiday: 20 days holiday entitlement (plus 8 bank holiday days) will be paid each year during the course of your apprenticeship.

A full-time job will be offered to the right candidate on completion of their apprenticeship for either an administrator or should the candidate wish they can do further training.
Skills Required
The Apprenticeship consists of:
You will attend monthly sessions as part of your off the job training throughout your apprenticeship. Most aspects of your training will be delivered on site by the employer, where you will gain all the skills, knowledge and experience to assist you in this role. Your duties will vary from day to day, and throughout your on site learning process you will work closely with experienced members of staff.
You will have regular visits every six to eight weeks from your designated assessor, who will help you and monitor your progress throughout your apprenticeship programme
