The training for our full-time Automotive programme will take place in our premises in Plympton.

As part of the programme you will have the opportunities to build upon your existing hand skills, gain a broader understanding of the automotive industry and receive one-to-one support from our qualified Automotive trainers.

You will also have the opportunity to complete work experience with a local automotive industry to help you decide whether you would like to pursue your career in vehicle maintenance, repair or bodywork.

As part of your qualification you will also receive:

  • Your personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Your training tools
  • Your travel costs
  • Free breakfast club

After having completed our Automotive full-time programme, you will be perfectly positioned to move onto an apprenticeship to develop your skills and understanding and pursue your career in this interesting industry.

There are no formal requirements for this programme, just an interest in the motor vehicle industry and a willingness to learn.

This full-time Level 2 course in Automotive will give you:

In a classroom, you only interact with your classmates, but through working you develop your people skills as you interact with customers on a daily basis. At school, you are closely monitored and parented, however I am now more independent and feel grown up
